Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of EZ Character at ezcharacter.com. EZ Character is operated and sold by AOK Digital ApS, trading as EZ Character, CVR 42409340 ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use EZ Character
  • You must provide a valid email address and use one of the sign-in methods we support
  • By using our service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old

Accounts

  • One account per person
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure
  • You may not share your account credentials with others

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use EZ Character to:

  • Generate CSAM — any content depicting child sexual abuse results in immediate account termination and a report to law enforcement
  • Create deepfakes of real people without their explicit consent
  • Generate illegal content of any kind
  • Harass, threaten, or promote hate against any individual or group
  • Spam or abuse rate limits, API endpoints, or service infrastructure
  • Circumvent security measures, authentication, or access controls

Content Policy

Sexually explicit content generation is prohibited. Content violating this policy will be removed without notice and may result in immediate account termination. We reserve the right to review generated content for policy compliance.

Intellectual Property

  • Your uploads — you retain all rights to images you upload to EZ Character
  • Generated images — AI-generated images are licensed to you for both personal and commercial use
  • Aggregated data — EZ Character retains the right to use anonymized, aggregated usage data for service improvement (never individual images)
  • Our service — the EZ Character name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property

Subscriptions and Billing

  • Stripe securely hosts Checkout and the Customer Portal and processes payments on our behalf; EZ Character remains your seller and point of contact for the service
  • Subscriptions automatically renew monthly or yearly at the price shown when you confirm Checkout, until cancelled
  • Credit packs are one-time purchases and do not renew
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except where required by law or stated in our Refund Policy
  • Prices may change with at least 30 days advance notice

Any applicable tax and the complete amount due are shown before you confirm a Stripe-hosted payment where tax collection has been configured. You can use the Customer Portal to view available invoices, payment methods, and subscription settings.

Usage & Limits

  • Free — 40 credits every month
  • Credit packs — credits never expire and run up to 2 jobs at a time
  • Lite, PRO, and MAX subscriptions — a monthly credit allowance, half-price EZ engines, and (PRO and MAX) uncapped concurrency

The free monthly allowance renews each month and does not carry over. A paid plan's monthly credits work the same way — they reset at the start of each billing period and unused credits do not roll over. Credits bought in a one-time pack never expire.

Service Availability

EZ Character is provided "as is" with no uptime guarantees. GPU processing depends on availability and demand. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • EZ Character is not liable for content you create or how you use AI-generated images
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid to us in the preceding 12 months
  • We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, quality, or suitability of generated images

Termination

  • Either party may terminate at any time
  • We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for policy violations
  • Upon account closure, your data will be deleted within 30 days
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability, intellectual property, and indemnification) will survive

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Denmark, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings in your country of residence that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
